Summary of Board
The Board of appeals shall consist of five members who are qualified by experience and training to pass upon matters pertaining to building construction. Members shall be appointed by the mayor with the consent of the City Council. Members shall be appointed to five-year terms. Each member will continue to serve until a successor has been appointed. Pursuant to the 1988 City of Springfield Code of Ordinances, Ch 33 Sec 33.002(d) No person shall be appointed to an office for more than three consecutive terms.
